Roasted Wasabi and Honey Pumpkin Seeds

So pumpkins are here ~ big and fresh and all their own. The pumpkin field where we got our pumpkins was so succumb to the round beasts that it was dizzying. We each chose one, and than hook or by crook as party favors and what not, we ended up with many more.

 Pumpkin carving was bountiful, many little hands to help . . .
So I turned on my oven to roasted a batch of pumpkin seeds, excited to try a sneaking experiment that had been lurking in the back of my mind for the last few days. I was hoping that adding wasabi, honey and soy sauce to the the seeds before baking them would turn them into something all together delicious. It’s funny that as I was working to find a name for this blog the ideas crossed over and I realized I had my name and a recipe. So enjoy~
Roasted Wasabi and Honey Pumpkin Seeds:
2 cups pumpkin seeds
2 teaspoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons honey
1 teaspoon wasabi
Bake 325 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden
